Cosplay Central
Cosplay Central is an area of our show floor devoted entirely to the art of costumes, crafts, and characters. There’s a dedicated Cosplay Central Stage, showcasing workshops and panels that are geared towards newbie cosplayers as well as seasoned veterans. Plus, get a quick cosplay costume fix at our cosplay repair station or make a costume change in our changing rooms. Don’t miss your chance to meet professional cosplayers at signing tables throughout Cosplay Central. Whether or not you’ll be wearing an epic cosplay to the show, there’s something for everyone in Cosplay Central!

Cosplay Competitions and Showcases
From casual “just for fun” showcases to getting competitive with the pros, there’ll be an opportunity for cosplayers of all abilities to show off their costumes at Florida Supercon.
Cosplay Central Crown Championship
The Cosplay Central Crown Championships is back for 2025! The winner of the Supercon Qualifier will move forward into the USA Final for a chance at glory in the Crown Championships Global Final.
Craftsmanship is at the heart of the championship so expect to see some incredible creations on the stage. All the entries will have their costume construction inspected by our judges before they take to stage and show off their creations.
Make sure to head to the Main Stage on Saturday to see which of the incredible entries will claim victory and receive a cash prize and a chance to compete in the US finals where they will compete against winners selected at Florida Supercon, NYCC and ECCC in the USA National Final. One of these four incredible cosplayers will triumph to compete against cosplayers from all over the world, all trying to claim the title of Crown Champion of Cosplay in the Global Final.
Applications open 9:00AM EST May 26, 2025 to 11:59PM EST June 22, 2025.

Cosplay Central Costume Showcase
The Sunday and Saturday Cosplay Central Costume Showcase will be back this year! The Saturday Cosplay Central Costume Showcase will once again be a hybrid show that will begin with the Showcase and then move onto the Cosplay Central Crown Championships just like in 2023. These events are open to all cosplayers and are an opportunity for fans of all levels to strut their stuff on the stage. The Showcases will require on-site sign-ups at the event. Cosplay hanging on by a thread!? What is meant to stick becoming unstuck?! We can handle all kinds of costume crises and prop palavers free of charge!
This year the Cosplay Repair Booth is brought to you by SprayGunner! SprayGunner is a team of airbrushing and custom painting enthusiasts from all segments - from professional spray painting to hobby scale modeling. Our goal is to bring simplicity and comfort in purchasing spray painting supplies at competitive prices and delivering them with the speed of a comic-book character.

From advice on taking part in competitions and getting started with wigs, to getting that perfect cosplay picture and tips to make your cosplay even better, the Cosplay Central stage program will be a celebration of all aspects of cosplay, directly from the community!
