John Wesley Shipp

John Wesley Shipp is Jay Garrick/Flash and Barry Allen’s father, Henry, on the current The Flash series on The CW network, and starred as Barry Allen / The Flash on CBS’s superhero series The Flash from 1990 to 1991, and as Mitch Leery, the title character’s father, on Dawson’s Creek from 1998 to 2001. Shipp has also played several roles in daytime soap operas including Kelly Nelson on Guiding Light from 1980 to 1984, and Douglas Cummings on As the World Turns from 1985 to 1986.

John has guest starred on Drop Dead Diva, and MTV’s Teen Wolf. He was the voice of Professor Eobard “Zoom” Thawne, the Reverse-Flash, in a 2010 episode of the animated series Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

John Wesley Shipp will be appearing at Florida Supercon on Thursday July 12th, Friday July 13th, Saturday, July 14 & Sunday, July 15.
